Tony & Linda

Tony moved from Warwickshire to Hampshire in 1974 and met Linda when she started work at Zurich Insurance Co, Portsmouth in February 1975. After glancing across at each other in the staff canteen they started going out in March 1975.
A whirlwind romance resulted in an engagement in the July of 1975. Tony & Linda were married on 04 June 1977 in Gosport and then bought a house on the Isle of Wight, just a few miles from the birthplace of Linda's Great Great Great Grandfather.

They have two Sons, Christopher Anthony Knight and Michael Kenneth James Knight, whose middle names were also those of Tony's Dad who sadly passed away in 1996.

Linda & Tony moved to Gosport in 1980 and into their current home in 1987.

In 1990, Tony & Linda set up the family Insurance Broking business but unfortunately in 1997, Linda became unable to work as a result of the onset of a rare muscle disease, polymyositis which continues to inhibit her to the current day.

Having discovered genealogy in 1999, they are able to share an interest in family history and are pleased to have the opportunity to help others whilst undertaking their own research.

2002 also saw the graduation from Southampton of their eldest Son, Chris, with a BA Hons Business Studies degree. Click here to see photos of Chris's graduation.

We were so proud when Chris married the lovely Nicki at Romsey Abbey on 18 June 2005 and in the same year, youngest Son, Mike completed his BSc Business Management degree.  He now works for BT on their Graduate Scheme

On June 4 2007, Tony & Linda celebrate their pearl wedding anniversary- a true milestone in their lifetime.
